About me

Hello everyone!  My name is Laura Jones and I live in Arlington, TX.  I started this blog to track my fitness progress as I work to get back into shape and get healthy.  I was an athlete my whole life until my college softball career ended in 2008, and I never really had to worry about being fit and healthy because I was very active.  Now that I've graduated college and am working the 8-5 job, finding the time and motivation to workout and eat right can be difficult.  I always had a coach or trainer setting my workout and practice routines, all I had to do was show up when and where I was told!...oh, those were the days...so now I'm living the "adult" life and figuring out what fitness and nutrition plans work best for me.  Trying to stick to any plan is definitely hard, and I've certainly let my health goals get pushed to the back of my plate, but now I'm ready to make it a priority again.  It's definitely not easy to change habits, and for that reason I've started this blog as a way to keep me accountable in my fitness routine.  I'm excited to share my progress over the weeks/months/years, and provide tips and insight in any way that I can.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
